A Series Everyone Can Relate To!
Where to even begin! Unlike a lot of series each of these books has a completely different feel and take. Besides the infamous Lady Whistledown there is really no commonality across the titles.
Each of the stories give you a firsthand view of the life each of the Bridgerton children lived. The author Julia Quinn does an amazing job giving the reader a first-person perspective. I know when I can feel what the characters in the books feel, it makes it an experience versus just another read.
I am one that tends to read the books prior to watching the show or movie. This is another case where that seemed to be a good idea in my opinion. The details that are provided sets the scene so well that it’s almost like you’re watching a movie in your head while reading.
I will say that we can all relate to one of the main characters in one way or another, drawing an alignment to ourselves. They captivate and have you questioning what will happen next. There is some adventure, mystery, and self-discovery on top of the romance. This isn’t your normal “smut” read.
Due to the different Bridgerton’s this series is also not just for the Ladies. Anthony, Benedict, Collin, and Gregory provide a different look for the men out there. It may be a bit on the softer side but still very much worth a shot.
This is a series that once you start, you won’t want to stop until you close the last book. I promise you’re still going to want more! So, which Bridgerton will you decide fits you best or possibly even Lady Whistledown?
